Our client is a very well-known life science innovation and healthcare group which is listed in US and Europe. They are looking for a great caliber who has strong regional / international exposure and IPO knowledge to join their dynamic team as Finance Manager in supporting their corporate finance and further business development.
Responsibilities:
- By reporting to Group CFO, this position is to assist in financial assessment of new products, projects, acquisitions; perform due diligence on new projects; assist with vendor and supplier selection and partnerships
- Accountable for due diligence, financial analysis and modelling, valuation and strategic analysis
- Support capital raising projects and corporate finance activities
- Coordinate the preparation of financial analysis, planning; manage the Company’s forecasting process; lead the organization in setting and adhering to established budgets and budgetary practices
- Facilitate ultimate responsibility for all aspects of reporting, budgeting, consolidations, planning and controlling
- Ensure compliance with accepted accounting principles and practices; manage corporate governance and adherence to Governmental regulations and Tax Authorities
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Finance / Accounting, qualified member of ACCA/HKICPA
- 5 years of relevant work experience of which at least 2 years in US listed company & audit experience required, preferably having experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry
- solid audit experience in Big 4 accounting firms is highly preferable
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations, tax issues and legal practice of Hong Kong and US preferred
- Strong in analytical and financial modelling
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to operate independently
- Familiar with FLEX accounting system is an advantage
- Immediate available or short notice is highly preferred
- Excellent command of written & spoken English & Chinese (Mandarin)
