Client Information	Our Client is a fast growing logistics company which is very active in the freight industry. Headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in major cities in China, they are currently looking for a General Manager to lead their designated branch office in China.
Responsibilities	Responsible for the overall profitability, sales turnover, business development, budgeting as well as the overall operation efficiency for the responsible branch office in China; Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts to nurture loyalty; Connect and negotiate with SS-Lines, Airlines, Master Loaders, Local Trucking companies and Local Authorities; Lead, motivate, and develop the team of the branch office – 16 people for Shanghai office and 6 team members for Ningbo office
Requirements	Tertiary education; preferably in logistics or related discipline; At least 5-10 years senior management experience in International Logistics; Must be familiar with local Shanghai and surrounding markets; Operational and Administration background including Accounting (Debtor/Creditor control etc.) knowledge is essential; Good leader and communicator with both local and overseas agents; Fluent in both written and spoken English; Preferably with some previous Sales and Marketing experience with own client base
