Client Information Our client is a fashion enterprise with over 20 year’s history in Shanghai. The brand is now looking for Knitwear Designers/ Designer Trainees to join their dynamic team and support their growing business. The role is responsible for design functions of a new knitwear collection from concept to delivery. It is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for calibers who desire to explore their potential and grow with the company with great exposure in China market.Industry: Fashion
Responsibilities
  • Implement design directions & collection ideas to meet business objectives;
  • Handle full set of product development process from sketch for sample development to complete products;
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet design schedules & requirements;
  • Research and analyze fashion trends, trims, colors, theme boards, materials, etc.;
  • Assist in creating client presentations and marketing materials;
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduates from accredited institution in Fashion Design or related disciplines, overseas background is an advantage;
  • 1 – 3 years experiences in knitwear design, fresh graduates with potentials are also welcomed;
  • Good markets sense and able to develop marketable collections to suit customers’ needs;
  • Creative, self-motivated, independent, with good interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent language literacy, English and Mandarin is a must, fluent Cantonese is preferable.
Salary Range Negotiable
