Legal Counsel / Legal Associate
Our client is a very well-known life science innovation and healthcare group which is listed in US and Europe. They are looking for a great caliber to join their dynamic team as Legal Counsel for supporting the business needs and facilitating the organization operation.
The Legal Counsel will be responsible to oversee all legal, intellectual property (IP) / patent / trademark and compliance subjects of the Group & subsidiaries. The candidate with less experience will be considered as Legal Associate.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for IP and patent management: work closely with the Research & Development team for the IP and/or patent, licensing or trademark related issues such as clinical trial agreements, agreements for both in-licensing and out-licensing of biopharmaceutical products, IP filing strategies
- Provide support in structuring and negotiating with external parties on corporate deals or transactions
- Execute all compliance and legal responsibilities of the Group including providing legal opinions, reviewing and drafting legal documents for public disclosure
- Manage and liaise with external parties, counsels and regulatory bodies for enquiries, reporting, inspection as well as investigation
Requirements:
- Degree holder and being qualified lawyer in HK, UK or US with more than 5 years PQE
- Strong background in chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences with experience in Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries is preferable
- good knowledge of IP environment with familiarization on regulatory submissions and market exclusivity impact IP strategies
- Experience in press release, materials for investor relationship and regulatory submissions for public listed companies in US
- Strong presentation and communication skills with time management.
- Excellent command of written & spoken English & Chinese Mandarin
