Visual (Product) Merchandiser – Asia Pacific Travel Retail

Responsibilities

  • Maintain consistency and harmonization for the brand image in a cost efficient approach

  • Source visual merchandising (VM) props in a time and cost-efficient manner for new projects
  • Perform VM training for beauty consultants and retail managers
  • Support and review POSM forecast with the commercial team

 Requirements 

  • University graduate with 5 years in visual merchandising (preferably in high end / luxury retail environment)
  • Complete fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
  • Excellent Command of Photoshop and hands on experience with computer illustration
  • Good interpersonal, communication with team and management in multicultural environment
  • Good co-ordination and strategic planning skills
  • Creativity, dynamism and initiatives and ability to understand the brand DNA
  • Excellent time, organizational and project management skills: proven ability to prioritize, work to a punch list and hit aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Experienced working with contractors: manage budget, negotiation and in store installation within time and budget
  • Willing to travel frequently (China, Korea, South East Asia, Japan mainly) and flexible for in store installation
