Client Information Our client is a financial services company headquartered in Germany with core businesses as insurance and asset management. It is the world’s largest insurance company, the largest financial services group according to Forbes magazine. The world’s leading company is now looking for an Underwriting Manager and an Underwriter to join their dynamic team and support their growing business in Hong Kong. The role is to execute and implement company underwriting policy. This is an exciting opportunity for those who is eager to pursue a career into a world class brand.

Responsibilities
  • Execute and implement company underwriting policy;
  • Build up and maintain a healthy portfolio in line with the company underwriting policy and objective;
  • Handle underwriter routine and administrative activities;
  • Develop new business and to maintain the existing business;
  • Conduct market analysis, and develop new products accordingly.

Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in insurance or auto related;
  • 8 years or above experience in motor underwriting in insurance companies;
  • Solid technical knowledge in motor underwriting;
  • Good English in writing & reading;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Familiar with computer software applications;
  • Great commitment and strong responsibility, self-motivated;
  • Details orientated without losing focus on big pictures;
  • Takes initiatives with a “can do” attitude, willing to work under pressure.
